考研英语题型中，翻译是第一道主观题，也是第二部分中大部分同学觉得困难的题目。
其实归根结底，主要是因为同学们没有掌握翻译技巧，练习后又没有评判标准不知道是否符合考研的要求。但考研英语主要考察考生是否能分析清楚句子结构，针对这样的考察方向，只要我们能掌握处理长难句的方法和翻译技巧，就能轻松译出得分的译文。既然是长难句，我们就先把句子划分成简短而的句子结构，断句后再分清每个结构的含义和各结构之间的关系，分别翻译出来再合理整合到一起，就有了成型的译文。我们就以2021年的翻译题目为例，一起翻译一下。
Those societies came out of the war with levels of enrollment that had been roughly constant at an 3%-5% of the relevant age groups during the decades before the war.
根据断句长短适中、语法长度完整的原则，我们可以把这句断成3个部分如下：
① Those societies came out of the war
②with levels of enrollment that had been roughly constant at an 3%-5% of the relevant age groups
③ during the decades before the war.
分析各部分的结构：
① 主语(Those societies )+谓语(came out of )+状语(the war)
② 状语：with levels of enrollment+定语从句( that had been roughly constant an 3%-5% of the relevant age groups )
③ age groups 的定语：during the decades before the war..
参考译文：这些社会从战争中走出来，当时的入学情况和战前几十年的情况处于相同水平，一直维持在适龄人群的3%-5%左右。
