考研英语题型中，翻译是第一道主观题，也是第二部分中大部分同学觉得困难的题目。
其实归根结底，主要是因为同学们没有掌握翻译技巧，练习后又没有评判标准不知道是否符合考研的要求。但考研英语主要考察考生是否能分析清楚句子结构，针对这样的考察方向，只要我们能掌握处理长难句的方法和翻译技巧，就能轻松译出得分的译文。既然是长难句，我们就先把句子划分成简短而的句子结构，断句后再分清每个结构的含义和各结构之间的关系，分别翻译出来再合理整合到一起，就有了成型的译文。我们就以2021年的翻译题目为例，一起翻译一下。

句子的主干为widespread social pressure often causes students to completely overlook the possibility of taking a gap year，to immediately go to college为不定式作后置定语修饰social pressure，in conjunction with increasingly high expectations in a fast-moving world为并列结构与social pressure并列。
